ABOUT THE ROLE
Thou Art Here Theatre is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our ensemble this summer for their FoundSpace Reading of CIVIL BLOOD: A Treaty Story by Josh Languedoc, at NEXTFEST. Performers will rehearse and perform the script as part of a roving ensemble racing around Strathcona. We are looking for performers who want to learn and perform Thou Art Here’s unique style of presenting adapted Shakespearean text. Applicants must be available for rehearsals on Sunday evenings in May as well as the final staged reading June 2, 2019.
Some actors engaged in this contract will play characters who represent people the First Nations and Metis. In particular, we encourage actors identifying as a part of these Diasporas to submit themselves for casting.
