Hailey McLeod was raised in Yellowknife, NWT before moving to Calgary to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Calgary where she trained in contemporary and jazz dance. At the U of C she had the pleasure of working with Melanie Kloetzel, Jason Stroh, Peggy Baker and Michele Moss among other talented artists. She has also danced professionally with La Caravan Dance Theatre and is a dinner theatre actor for Aspen Crossing, in Mossleigh Alberta. [Sinking/Floating] (part of Verge, a mixed program of dance shorts) had its debut in Helsinki at the artArctica Festival 2016. She also holds and M.Sc. in Dance Science from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in the UK.
